In addition to the final purchase price paid to the seller, buyers pay a 5% buyer’s fee to Aloha Bids. The buyer’s fee has a minimum of $250 and a maximum of $5000.

To register, click the “Sign In” icon in the upper right corner of the screen, then select “Sign up here” in the pop-up box. After creating a username and password, verify your email address. Once verified, you can return to Aloha Bids and register to bid by entering your credit card information, as a hold will be placed on your card until the auction ends.

After registering, placing a bid is simple. Find the car you want, click the “Place Bid” button on the listing page, and enter your bid amount. Your bid must be higher than the previous bid, and depending on the bidding level, there may be a minimum increment required. A hold will be placed on your credit card for 5% of your bid amount until the auction concludes.

Yes, but you must pay in full for the vehicle promptly after the auction ends. Logistics, import fees, transportation, and any legal dues are the buyer’s responsibility. Ensure you have everything arranged before bidding.

No, Aloha Bids does not offer proxy bidding. If you are outbid, you will need to manually place your next bid.

Aloha Bids places a hold on your credit card to cover the buyer’s fee if you win. The hold is for 5% of your bid amount, with a minimum of $225 and a maximum of $5000. If you don’t win, the hold is released after the auction ends.

Holds are released immediately after the auction ends, but it may take a few days or up to 7 business days for the hold to be removed, depending on your bank. Contact your card issuer for more information.

If a listing doesn’t have a reserve, you’ll see a “No Reserve” tag on the page.

If the reserve isn’t met, we’ll work with you and the seller to find a mutually agreeable price. Only the highest bidder is eligible to make a post-auction deal, and our fee reduces to 2.5%.

At the end of the auction, both buyer and seller receive each other’s contact information to finalize the transaction.

We’ve partnered with Woodside credit to offer fast and easy financing options. Apply directly from each auction listing. If you choose another financing option, ensure your loan is pre-approved before bidding.

Transportation costs are the buyer’s responsibility. You can either pick up the car yourself or arrange for shipping. Get shipping quotes directly from the auction page or by contacting our team. Always verify timing with the seller before bidding.

We recommend using KeySavvy for safe payment. If paying directly, wire transfers or cashier’s checks are recommended. Discuss the payment timeline with the seller early to ensure a smooth process.

Yes. Comments should be focused on the vehicle being sold and should maintain a positive and respectful tone. Personal attacks, inappropriate content, and off-topic discussions are not allowed.
